The S Series range of sensors all incorporate the same multi-axis mercy switch. Whenever the sensor is moved 18 degrees or more from the vertical, in any direction, the normally closed contacts will open. The switch itself is custom made has been developed over a long period of association with one of the worlds leading manufacturers. The mercury contact dose not stick, weld, wear or suffer from friction. The switch is ecapsulated in an inert atmosphere making it impervious to contamination. This offers the ultimate reliability
